Book Review: Never Lie by Freida McFadden

Rating: ...Literally no

Summary:

A blonde and a bro walk into an empty mansion...book follows

Lindsay's Thoughts:

now information gaps are a necessary function of mystery. That being said, there seems to be some information gaps within the main characters' own mind. I don't understand why mysteries only work if the female main characters seem dumb as a box of rocks only to be revealed..*gasp*...as not dumb, but horribly morally bankrupt, duplicitous, and still a bit dim. There is nothing to grab onto in this book. Though you get the pay off of a mystery plot revealed, there's nothing to take away. The book will immediately leave you upon untangling the missing information, because there's no substance to anyone here. Skip. Hard skip.
